I was checking my sitemeter today and I noticed that I have a visitor from NIPR.mil which has been redirected from BlogsByIranians to my damned weblog.
I played a little with google and alltheweb and I found that Nipr.mil is not a single domain a but a hush-hush web proxy that acts as a gateway for hundreds of U.S. military domains in order to hide their identities. It was established by the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) to increase the readiness for Information Warfare.

I think it's a good point for persian bloggers that american officials read their blogs to get info about our current damned situation, but dear big brother, remember that less than seven percent of iranians have internet access. don't forget them in your calculations!

Damn to Arabic windows ,
while online farsi content is spreading day by day,
we are facing a big hazard for searching in farsi language.
many users are using arabic windows with persian interface (Parsa , Sina , etc ...)
this damned windows' character sets are not compatible with farsi unicode standard.
the worst point is that some damned software companies have released "fixes" for Windows XP , which replaces win XP DLLs and downgrades your codepage support to arabic.
It's common in Iran , you must downgrade yourself to be COMPATIBLE.
Many iranian sites and weblogs suffer from this problem even well known blogs like hoder.

So when you want to search a keyword inculding farsi "yeh" letter you must search twice. one time with arabic "yeh" letter and one time with farsi "yeh" :

Anyway, If you have Windows XP , I beg you not to install any software to fix your farsi keyboard , It does not need fixing , It's OK.
If you have Windows 98 or ME , you can use a free upgrade instead of using farsi/arabic windows :

Iran is the only country where half of the parliment resigns and TV can say nothing about it ! :] viva ! sorry, I mean damn to!
